Location: Antigua
Our client, a leading wines and spirits company, is seeking to recruit a results-oriented Managing Director for one of its key operating divisions.
The Position
The Managing Director is a critical executive responsible for the division's overall performance and success. The successful candidate must possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, be passionate about growth, and be Number One in the market. The Managing Director must set an appropriate “tone at the top” and always lead by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s strategic growth plans.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity and profitability.
- Manage the Division’s financial resources, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Identify and execute growth opportunities; identify market trends and potential new markets.
- Build and lead a high-performing and collaborative team.
- Monitor and improve product and service quality.
- Encourage and support innovation throughout the organization, always seeking to identify and implement new or improved industry best practices.
- Report regularly to the company’s CEO and Board of Directors on the Division’s performance, achievements and challenges.
Minimum Requirement
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years at a Senior Management level.
- Previous experience in a similar role will be a considerable asset.
