Kathy David

Kathy David is a Chartered Accountant and a Partner in the Antigua Firm, with over 20 years of accounting and auditing expertise.  She has worked in territories throughout the Caribbean, including St. Kitts, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, and her home – Antigua.  She has led the audits of a wide spectrum of clients in various industries, including but not limited to insurance, banking, hospitality, mutual funds, captive insurance, real estate development, healthcare, grant funding agencies, petroleum, aviation, and telecommunications industries.  She has also been the engagement leader on the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union’s central bank – the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank.

For non-audit clients, Kathy also leads the Firm’s Business Risk Solutions team that performs internal audits and related service offerings inclusive of risk reviews, internal control assessments, and policies and procedures manuals enhancement for best practice.

Her Advisory experience also includes major local and regional business acquisitions, receiverships and re-organisations of financial institutions.

Directorship(s)

Kathy has served as a director on the External Audit Committee of the Washington-based, International Monetary Fund (IMF); last acting as its Chair in 2019.

  • FCCA of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom & Wales (FCCA)
  • Member of the Institute of Risk Management (IRM of the UK)
